We accept the following payment methods:

  • ACH (Direct Bank Account): No processing fee

  • Credit Cards: A 3% processing fee applies

Yes. Tuition is prorated for the month of August to reflect the start of our season. Tuition for the remainder of the season reserves your dancer’s place in class and is not prorated for holidays, studio closures, or occasional absences.

No. The annual registration fee is non-refundable. This fee helps cover the administrative costs associated with enrolling each dancer, including account setup, registration processing, student records, communication systems, scheduling, insurance, and other operational expenses. It also reserves your dancer’s place for the season.

Payments not received by the 10th of each month are subject to a 10% late fee . Accounts that remain past due may result in suspension from classes until the balance has been paid in full.

To withdraw from a class, please complete the Withdrawal Form located here.

Withdrawal requests must be submitted on or before the 21st of the month to discontinue tuition for the following month. Requests received after the 21st will remain responsible for the following month’s tuition. Please refer to our Withdrawal Policy for complete details.

Attendance

Missed classes are non-refundable. However, if your dancer would like to make up a missed class, please email hello@relevemovementco.com , and we’ll be happy to help find an appropriate makeup class based on availability.

If your dancer is feeling unwell or showing signs of illness, we kindly ask that they stay home to help keep our dance community healthy. Once your dancer has fully recovered, we’d be happy to help schedule a makeup class. Please contact hello@relevemovementco.com to arrange a suitable option.

We understand that absences are sometimes unavoidable. However, consistent attendance is essential for learning choreography and supporting the progress of the team. If repeated absences begin to impact a dancer’s ability to stay caught up, private lessons or additional rehearsal time may be recommended or required to help the dancer remain prepared and support the success of the entire team.

Attendance expectations for the Training Program and Company are outlined in their respective handbooks and reflect the commitment level of each program.

Recital

Yes! Relevé proudly presents an annual end-of-year recital celebrating our dancers’ growth, hard work, and accomplishments throughout the season. Every class has the opportunity to perform, creating a memorable experience for both dancers and their families.

When is the annual Recital? : Our annual recital date is TBD (to be determined) and will be communicated well in advance to allow families ample time to plan.

Relevé’s dance season runs from August through May , culminating in our annual recital.

Recital participation is strongly encouraged, as it is an important part of the dance education experience. Performing on stage helps dancers build confidence, develop performance skills, and celebrate all they have accomplished throughout the season. If your dancer is unable to participate, please notify the studio as early as possible.

Yes. Recital participation includes additional fees to help cover production expenses such as the performance venue, technical staff, costumes, and other recital-related costs. Recital fees and costume payment deadlines will be communicated well in advance.

Most recital preparation takes place during each dancer’s regularly scheduled class throughout the season. In addition, there will be one required dress rehearsal, typically held on the day of the recital, allowing dancers to become familiar with the stage, spacing, and performance schedule. Families will receive the dress rehearsal and recital schedule well in advance.

Recital costumes are typically distributed in the spring after they have been received from our costume vendors. Families will be notified when costumes are available for pickup, along with any additional information regarding accessories, alterations, and performance requirements.

Company + Training Programs

Relevé offers multiple training paths to meet dancers where they are in their journey and support their individual goals.

  • Recreational Classes focus on developing technique, confidence, and a love of dance in a fun, encouraging environment.

  • Studio Teams are designed for dancers seeking a flexible introduction to competitive dance with a lower time commitment while continuing to build strong technical foundations. In addition to their weekly combination dance class, dancers participate in a weekly rehearsal, attend 2–3 regional competitions and the annual recital. Studio Teams may have occasional additional rehearsals or preparation sessions leading up to competition season.

  • The Training Program is an invitation-only program for dancers ages 13 and older who desire advanced technical training alongside Company dancers without the full competitive team commitment. Training Program dancers focus on technical growth and may pursue select performance opportunities.

  • Company is Relevé’s premier competitive performance program, created for dancers who desire the full Company experience. Alongside advanced technical training, dancers participate in group choreography, conventions, competitions, rehearsals, team events, and expanded performance opportunities, fostering both artistic excellence and a strong sense of community.

  • Auditions are required for placement in the Training Program and Company.
  • Studio Teams are open enrollment and do not require an audition. However, team placement is determined by Relevé’s faculty to ensure dancers are grouped appropriately based on age, experience, technical development, and the overall balance of each team. Recreational classes are open enrollment and do not require an audition.

Yes! Studio Team dancers are encouraged to enroll in additional recreational classes to continue developing their technique and explore a variety of dance styles.

Solo, duo, and trio opportunities are offered at the discretion of Relevé’s artistic staff. Placement is based on factors including technical ability, performance quality, work ethic, commitment, readiness, choreography needs, and overall fit. These opportunities are considered an additional privilege and are not guaranteed as part of Company membership.

Parent Information

Absolutely! Each of our studios is equipped with viewing monitors, allowing parents to observe their dancer’s progress throughout class while helping maintain a focused, distraction-free learning environment.

Our instructors are committed to providing their full attention to students during class. If you have questions or would like to discuss your dancer’s progress, please email hello@relevemovementco.com , and we’ll be happy to connect you with the appropriate instructor or arrange a convenient time to talk.

Relevé communicates important updates primarily through email and the parent portal. Families may also receive text notifications for time-sensitive information. We encourage parents to ensure their contact information remains current and to regularly check studio communications, as they contain important announcements, schedules, and event details.

The safety of our dancers and families is our top priority. In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, any class cancellations or schedule changes will be communicated via email, text message, the parent portal, and our social media pages. Please note that weather conditions can vary throughout our region, and families should always use their own discretion when determining whether it is safe to travel to the studio.

If Relevé cancels classes due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to offer a makeup class or alternative learning opportunity when scheduling permits. While makeup classes cannot be guaranteed, we are committed to providing dancers with meaningful training opportunities whenever possible.

Studio Policies

For the safety of all dancers, parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring their dancer arrives safely and is picked up promptly at the conclusion of class. Dancers should arrive no more than 10 minutes before their scheduled class time unless otherwise instructed. Relevé staffsupervise dancers during scheduled class times only and cannot provide supervision before or after class. Young dancers should be escorted into and out of the building by a parent or guardian.

To help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, we kindly ask that younger siblings remain supervised by a parent or guardian at all times while in the studio.

Yes! Lost items will be placed in our Lost & Found area. We encourage families to label all dance shoes, clothing, and personal belongings with their dancer’s name. Unclaimed items may be donated periodically throughout the season.

Water bottles are encouraged and may be brought into the studios. To help keep our studios clean and protect our dance floors, food is not permitted inside the studios. Snacks and meals should be enjoyed in designated lobby areas, and we ask that families help us keep the space clean by disposing of trash properly.

We love celebrating our dancers’ accomplishments! Photos and videos may occasionally be taken during classes, rehearsals, performances, or studio events for use on Relevé’s website, social media platforms, and marketing materials. If you prefer that your dancer not be photographed or featured, please notify the studio in writing.

Relevé-Specific Questions

” Move with Purpose” is more than our tagline—it’s the heart of who we are. We believe every class, correction, rehearsal, and performance should be intentional. Our goal is to help dancers develop not only strong technique, but also confidence, discipline, artistry, resilience, and a genuine love for movement that extends beyond the studio.

At Relevé, we believe exceptional dance education is about more than winning awards—it’s about developing well-rounded dancers and confident young people. We prioritize high-quality training, age-appropriate instruction, purposeful progression, and a supportive culture where every dancer is challenged, encouraged, and valued. Whether a dancer is recreational, on a Studio Team, in Company, or part of the Training Program, every student receives thoughtful instruction from faculty who are invested in their growth.

Not at all. We believe every dancer deserves excellent instruction, regardless of whether they choose to compete. Our recreational program emphasizes strong technical foundations, artistic growth, and confidence in a positive and encouraging environment. Competitive opportunities are available for dancers who desire them, but they are never the only path to meaningful growth.

Absolutely! Many of our masterclasses are open to all dancers and may be attended simply as a training opportunity. Unless otherwise specified, participation in a masterclass does not require an audition, and dancers from all studios are welcome to join us.

Yes! Relevé offers adult dance and wellness classes designed for all experience levels. Whether you’re returning to dance after many years or trying it for the first time, our adult classes provide a welcoming, supportive environment to move, learn, and have fun. No prior dance experience is required unless otherwise noted.

We’re happy to help! If you’re unsure which class best fits your experience level, goals, or interests, simply reach out to us at hello@relevemovementco.com. We’ll gladly recommend the class that will provide the best experience and support your growth.

We understand that occasional absences happen and are pleased to offer make-up classes throughout the dance season.

Dancers may make up a missed class by attending another class at the same level (or a lower level, when appropriate), provided space is available.

Make-up classes are subject to instructor approval and must be scheduled in advance.

Whenever possible, make-up classes should be completed within 30 days of the missed class and before the end of the current dance season.

Make-up classes are intended solely to help dancers continue their training and may not include the same choreography or material missed in their regular class.

Please note that make-up classes are not available for studio closures due to inclement weather, scheduled holidays, picture week or other dates when the studio is closed.

If for some reason your class isn’t working out or if you have any concerns we would love to try to help you out or resolve any concerns that you might have. You can email us at hello@relevemovementco..com to see if there is anything we can do to help. To withdraw from a class a withdrawal form must be filled out on the website here.

We do allow one free trial class so that dancers can try the class first . However many classes fill up at the time of registration. Waiting to do a trial class means the class could fill up before your dancer has a chance to try it. If your dancer does try the class and likes it but the class is then full you can register for our waitlist.

We ask that all dancers give a class at least a month to determine if he or she likes it. Much like the first day of school it does take a little bit of time for classes to get into a routine and for dancers to get acclimated to new teachers, steps, and friends. If after trying it for a while they still do not feel like it’s a good fit for them you can withdraw (please see our withdrawal policies).
